Dates for your Diary 2024/25

2024

9th September – resume rehearsals including welcome back drinks after the rehearsal in the church

12th October – ‘Shakespeare’s Songs’ Concert at St Andrew Holborn – rehearsal 2:45-5:45pm – 7:30pm concert

31st October – 3rd November – tour to Sicily to participate in an International Choir Festival

4th November – returning from tour, no rehearsal

2nd December – final rehearsal of term

7th December – Christmas Concert at St Marylebone – 1:15pm-4pm rehearsal – 5pm concert

9th December – Christmas Carolling at Hay’s Galleria (near London Bridge) – from 6pm

2025

6th January – first rehearsal of the new year

3rd Feburary – celebrate the end of ‘Dry January’ with an after rehearsal in-church social!

21st April – Easter Bank Holiday – no rehearsal

22nd April – Tuesday rehearsal with Whitehall Choir (venue St Mary-at-Hill)

26th April – Baroque Splendour Concert with Whitehall Choir at Cadogan Hall

28th April – no rehearsal

5th May – Bank Holiday – no rehearsal

26th May – Bank Holiday – no rehearsal

21st June – Saturday Choral Workshop Day at St-Mary-At-Hill

14th July – last rehearsal of term

8th September – rehearsals resume

17th October – Concert at St James’ Paddington

13th December – Christmas Concert (venue St Marylebone Parish Church TBC)

We won’t have much time between rehearsal and concert, so please do bring a sandwich with you.
Please come in your concert dress. We have access to toilets, but will not have dressing rooms (same as last year) so need to keep bags etc to a minimum.

Feel free to wear whatever black clothing you’d like. You’re welcome to wear jewelry and Christmas sparkle if you’d like.

Please do make sure you have a note/print out of this somewhere, and have tabs or post its in your scores so that you can find your way to the pieces quickly. Putting them in on the day is too late!
